World Cup fever has hit the office at Inspired Film and Video! There are lots of football fans in the office and even non-football fans are getting caught up with the excitement of the office sweepstake. Go Peru!
We spend most of the regular season providing broadcast crew for overseas broadcasters producing pieces about the Premier League, and we love meeting fans and players across the country. We’re normally sad when our football work is on hold during the summer, so it’s great that we’ve got our World Cup sweepstake to keep us sane.
Earlier this season we met with Leicester City Number One Kasper Schmeichel, to review the 2017/2018 Premier League season for the Discovery Network in Denmark. We’ve also had the pleasure to meet with and interview newly appointed England captain, Harry Kane, Denmark and Tottenham Hotspur midfielder, Christian Eriksen, and Liverpool star, Jordan Henderson.
We’ve thoroughly enjoyed our work with current England superstars, however, we’ve also had the good fortune to meet with superstars from a different generation – England world cup winners Sir Bobby Charlton and Gordon Banks. We’ve worked extensively for Sir Bobby Charlton’s Charity, Find A Better Way. Sir Bobby is now forging a legacy outside of football through his determination to champion the cause of landmine detection and destruction, and we’ve met and interviewed Sir Bobby many times to talk about this. Gordon Banks has been a great supporter of the UHNM (University Hospital North Midlands) Charity and we’ve worked with Gordon to help promote the work of this fantastic Charity.
Speaking of Stoke City and England Goalkeepers, we’re hopeful that current Stoke City Goalkeeper, Jack Butland can follow in his predecessors footsteps and lift the World Cup. We met Jack for an interview when also filming for UHNM and will be cheering him on from our office in Stoke this summer.
