We are currently working on an exciting piece of elearning with the Staffordshire based charity, dDeaflinks and Keele University. This piece of interactive learning is aimed at raising awareness of how health care professionals can provide better care for deaf and hard of hearing patients.
The interactive learning modules have been produced using the first hand experiences of service users at dDeaflinks. We have drawn on their experiences and interactions to offer advice and insight into how healthcare workers can better understand and offer care to patients with hearing difficulties.
The interactive learning consists of a series of online interactive quizzes, information and interactive videos recorded with Staffordshire born, Oscar-winning actress Rachel Shenton.
The modules have been produced with the support of the Keele University Business Bridge project and will be completed and available to license from dDeaflinks later this year.
dDeaflinks were winners of an award at this years Keele University, Breaking The Mould Awards.
We’re really excited to be working on these elearning modules and to be able to work with these excellent organisations to help improve deaf awareness.
