Services: Social media video campaign
Inspired were asked to deliver eight social media adverts to support the Staffordsheer marketing campaign. The goal of the project was to promote the county as a tourism venue and increase engagement on Facebook, Twitter and You Tube. We filmed at popular venues like Alton Towers, World of Wedgwood, Go Ape, Cannock Chase and Lichfield Cathedral.
We wanted the viewer to experience Staffordshire’s tourist attractions for themselves.
We produced eight point of view adverts, each with a long and short version (12 and 25 seconds) and eight 360° videos. This allowed the viewer to have a virtual experience of the destination they might want to visit. To facilitate this we had to build a bespoke headcam rig to give that POV feel with an increased quality to that given by a GoPro. We used our Freedom 360 rig to capture the venues in 360° video.
The campaigns have been highly successful with most videos achieving over 25,000 views and massively uplifting social media engagement.
We have also recently produced a series of social media videos, I Love Staffordshire, where some local celebrities talk about their favourite things. These so far have included Neil Morrissey and recently crowned World’s Strongest Man Eddie Hall. The two films so far have had more than 60,000 views on You Tube without a paid promotion.
